Ballet

Classes are composed of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus. Barre work as well as understanding the theory and reasons for ballet are taught. Some free movement and character work will be included. Ballet is an asset to any dance form as it builds technique, strength, and grace.

Primary Ballet	1	45 minute class per week ages 5 - 6
	2	45 minute class per week ages 6 - 7 or prerequisite Primary Ballet 1

Jr. Ballet	1	1 hour class per week ages 7 - 8
	2	1 hour class per week ages 8 - 10 or prerequisite Jr Ballet 1 or equivalent

Inter Ballet	1	1 hour class per week ages 9 - 11 (If new to ballet and are 9/10 should go into Jr Ballet 2)
	2	1 hour class per week ages 10 - 12 or prerequisite Inter Ballet 1 or equivalent

Teen Ballet	1	1 hour class per week ages 13+ students who are brand new to Ballet
	2	1 hour class per week ages 13 + who have had experience in Ballet

Advanced Ballet		45 minute pointe class per week must be at least 12 and have prior permission from director
