Summit School of Music and Dance - Tap Classes - NW and SE Calgary Dance Lessons

Tap Dance

Tap classes are composed of the CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) as well as the Stepping Tones (Al Gilbert) Syllabus. Classes will include barre work, center floor, and progressions. Students will also learn rhythms and musicality associated with tap techniques.

Primary Tap	1	45 minute class per week ages 5 - 7
	2	45 minute class per week ages 6 - 8 or prerequisite Primary Tap 1

Jr. Tap	1	1 hour class per week ages 8 - 11
	2	1 hour class per week ages 10 - 12 or prerequisite Jr Tap 1 or equivalent

Inter Tap	1	1 hour class per week ages 12 - 14
	2	1 hour class per week ages 13 - 14 prerequisite Inter Tap 1 or equivalent

Teen Tap	1	1 hour class per week ages 15+ students who are brand new to Tap
	2	1 hour class per week ages 15+ students who have a had experience in Tap.
